Here’s a few tips I use to speed up my metabolism.
We all know how important it is to drink water.
Water = energy
I always drink plenty of water and when I prep for a competition, I drink a gallon every single day!
Here are a few ways I get creative and playful with my water.
1) Ginger/lemon – anti-inflammatory, to improve digestion
You don’t need a lot of ginger….
2) Green tea Matcha – everybody by now knows about matcha. It is a wonderful antioxidant that can speed up your metabolism, detoxifier, great substitute for coffee, and great before a workout.
3) Apple / Cinnamon water- can help with blood sugar and studies show that 1/2 a teaspoon of cinnamon can lower bad cholesterol.
4) Mint/ lime – sooooooo refreshing, great after a meal to improve digestion
I sometimes add a strawberry for aroma and looks.
You can add a stevia for the sweetness if you desire.

Nice tips, but, would you recommend hot or cold drinks? which one is better if is a want to burn fat faster? or any other special drink to achieve that. Thanks.
Hey denise I am huge FAN of yours and the health and eating advice that you give are so really great!! I love suppin tea instead of coffee, and I too have fall in love with green tea, its so refreshing.
I live in india, mumbai. I now get myself the best Organic green tea from assam since i have some very good friends there.
